Here at HVS we value our local community. We actively engage in various initiatives to help out in our community, and we’d like to share a little about them with you. A cause that is particularly near and dear to our hearts is our commitment to helping the youth in our area. One of the ways we contribute to this cause is through donating to Escape Ministries, a local non-profit organization.
Escape Ministries is a non-profit dedicated to guiding at-risk youth and helping them find their path through the power of local employment and mentorship opportunities. Two of the programs they offer are Alternative Suspension Accountability Program (A.S.A.P), which assists suspended students in keeping up with their studies, and Career Connections, which provides valuable summer employment opportunities to teenagers.
Another way we give back to our community is donating to local high school extracurriculars, such as the Holland and Zeeland Public Schools. We have donated time through volunteer work, equipment in areas that were lacking, and funds to the high school sports teams and marching bands. Through these meaningful partnerships, we aim to inspire and uplift the next generation of leaders, athletes, and performers.
Around the holidays, we participate in the Adopt-A-Family program through Resilience: Center for Women in Transition. We have adopted multiple families over the past years who have been victims of domestic abuse and are in financial need around the holidays. We anonymously donate Christmas presents to the families in need.
Holland Vision Systems also donates our time in various capacities. We have donated our time to local retailers, parks, beaches, farms, city jails, and more to help service and install cameras. We also annually volunteer our time and experience to teach kids about technology and soldering with the Lakeshore Makers of Holland, Michigan.
At Holland Vision Systems, we believe in making a positive impact not only within our community but also among our customers. We understand the importance of fostering a sense of care and responsibility, and we are committed to creating a lasting difference in the lives of those around us.
