The operator must judge when the roll cores are in the rack receptacles while looking up from ground level. It is difficult to see the ends of wide rolls.
Rolls may be dropped, creating an extreme safety hazard and damaging product.
Large fork-carriage attachments block visibility when picking product and driving.
Using an HVS camera system:
The operator can view both ends of the roll together on a screen via a customized camera system; he sees the roll cores settling into the rack receptacles, magnified and from above.
Operator throughput and confidence increase.
Product damage and safety incidents decrease.
