Choosing the Right Camera System: A Comprehensive Guide for Dealers

Pairing the right camera system with your customer can be challenging since it probably isn’t your expertise. We have the resources to make it as easy and straightforward as possible while providing an actual solution. We offer a variety of options tailored to different truck types, racking systems, and specific uses with variables such as wired or wireless, recording, weatherproof, magnetic mounts, various monitor sizes, split screens, and more. Given the many factors that influence what camera a customer might need, we’ve created this resource to help dealers understand our offerings and gather the necessary information for us to recommend the proper system.

Our Offerings:

We provide a variety of systems including recording systems, fork-view systems, rear-view systems, smart-pedestrian detecting, temporary/moveable systems, and laser guides for efficient picking. Additionally, cameras are suited for different truck types, attachments, and options for wired or wireless setups, multiple cameras, monitors, and specialized environments (weatherproof, cold storage, indoor/outdoor use, etc.). Whatever the need, we have a solution.

Our systems can:

  • Reduce blind spots
  • Mitigate product, lift truck, and racking damage
  • Increase safety and efficiency
  • Decrease operator neck strain and back issues
  • Increase operator accountability
  • Provide recordings to reduce theft, capture accidents, and prove product/shipping conditions

“If – Then” Solutions

Here is a list of common issues your customers might have and the types of systems available to address them:

  • Product and racking damage: A fork-view system, like the Integra, might be the right solution. You might also consider a recording option to gain valuable information on who is causing this and when it is happening.
  • Blind spots: Depending on the location of the blind spot, a rear-view system or fork-view system can be adjusted to gain the desired view. We often ask for where the scratches are happening on the truck to know where the best placement of the camera view should be.
  • Difficulty seeing higher or double-deep racking: A mast camera can provide the needed view. Our cameras can maintain a clear signal 500+ inches in the air.
  • Damage and falls while picking: A laser guide can be the solution.
  • Scanning barcodes from high racks: A fork-view system could be just the thing with our 1080p resolution.

Information needed to quote a solution:

  • Truck (make and model)
  • Desired camera view
  • Intended use/goal of the system
  • Environment details (weather exposure, refrigeration, indoor/outdoor use, etc.)

Collecting this information can ensure that your customers receive the most suitable and effective camera system for their needs. Post-sale, we offer technical support and replacement parts for all of our products to ensure your customer is fully satisfied with the solution given.
